Dr. Robert K. Winters is an internationally recognized sport psychologist, author and professional educator. He is the President of his own performance enhancement company located in Orlando, Florida, and is the Resident Sport Psychologist for GOLFZON Leadbetter Academy.
Dr. Winters completed his Ph.D. degree in Sport Psychology from the University of Virginia and served on the UVA athletic coaching staff for eight years. He is a former collegiate and touring professional golfer with over 50 years of competitive experience. He helped create NIKE Golf School Junior golf schools around the country and has been involved with that program since 1992. He is known throughout the athletic world as “The Confidence Doctor."
He served as the mental coach of US, British, Australian and Scottish Amateur Champions as well as having coached US Men’s and Women’s Open Champions and other professional athletes in a variety of sports.
Dr. Robert K. Winter's list of champion golfers that he has coached and counseled includes Brooks Koepka, Tony Finau, Lee Westwood, Justin Rose, Charles Howell III, Steve Marino, Amy Yang, Hee Young Park, Michelle Wie, Jodi Ewart Shadoff, and Kelly Whaley.
