Ian Holloway grew up playing golf in Worksop, England, inspired by local players such as Lee Westwood and Mark Foster. After competing nationally and internationally as an amateur, he pursued a career in coaching, becoming a fully qualified PGA Professional.
Ian began his coaching journey with the David Leadbetter Academy, working across multiple academies worldwide, before settling in Germany. Over the years, he has established himself as a short game and wedge play specialist, coaching some of Europe’s top amateurs and professionals. His students include DP World Tour winners Max Kieffer and Nicolai von Dellingshausen, as well as LET Order of Merit winner Chiara Tamburlini.
In addition to his individual coaching, Ian works as a consultant for numerous regional programs and serves both the Swiss and German national teams with expertise in short game performance.
