Stephen Moriarty is Director of Leadbetter Academies, Southeast Asia, and the region’s only Leadbetter Master Instructor. Based at Laguna National since 2018, he has trained and led a team of 20+ coaches across seven locations in three countries.
Over the past two years, Stephen has made continued coach education the centerpiece of the academies, producing and hosting dozens of expert-led webinars for Leadbetter coaches in the region. These sessions, alongside structured mentoring and shared curricula, have raised standards and created a common coaching language across the network.
A British PGA Member and 2022 Leadbetter Coach of the Year, Stephen began his Leadbetter career in South Korea in 2006 and later spearheaded the brand’s expansion in Indonesia from 2013, including at Pondok Indah and subsequent academies. He remains active on the lesson tee and in AimPoint clinics at Laguna National.
